I was hated so much because I was more beautiful, educated, more authentic etc. I was hated because of my inner light. Negative people don't want you to shine. I set firm boundries to all those people, gone no contact and am at peace now.

Several years ago I had this experience with a coworker. I’d walk into the kitchenette and he would be sitting with two other coworkers and out of the blue say “F (my name)! I asked what he was mad at me about and what did I do to offend him, he had no answer just smirked. I later chalked it up to jealousy and low self esteem. Your information confirms my conjecture.

It's sad but true, once I realised that they don't care if I forgive them or not it's all about me moving on an finding peace. The fact that they were capable to do what they did with no remorse shows they could care less it's a reflection on who they are. It's a learning curve but I choose peace.

My fiancé left me after 7 years of relationship. 2 weeks of silent treatment, i said sorry, i had a lil surgery, but she didn't care, she was cold and said it's too late. She packed her stuff, took our dog and went to her mum. I was too shocked, to proud and offended that she left me in a very difficult time in my life(dealt with depression and currently unemployment). It took me one month to process and realize that the love of my life left me. I reached out to her and told her, how sorry i am, that i was to proud and made a mistake. She dropped the bomb that she met a guy only 2-3 weeks after the breakup, "coincidentally", told me how hard it is for her to open up again, and that she is only getting to know him, that she doesn't cheat on me. Told me that she has no time to grieve and that she deserves to be happy, and if she sees a future with this guy marry him(he told her he would love to marry her) and so on. Even told me she was only emotional dependent on me and that it wasn't real love between us... Of course she had to tell me all this because she thought it would make it "easier" for me to let her go. I found it very cruel and she left me destroyed and confused. It's like i never knew this person...

Yes it’s true . They’re jealous because you have something better! Your eyes, your hands , your hair etc etc . They’re primitive , bad soul and thick so this is why they’re jealous. I’ve bin going öfter getting a coffee to a local bakery and stuff there always tried to make my mood bad , tried to be rude to me and behaving nasty towards me. I didn’t know why and I understood after while looking carefully their eyes . I never went there again !

I started identifying most people around me wanted to control the way I spend my money, who I want to spend on, where and how I want to spend the funny thing is it starts as they care about me and upon my disagreeing they starts to show agitation. The second thing they want to control is my TIME. How I spend my time, who I spend my time with, where I spend my time, How much time I spend etc. You can see once they failed the blame and shame you for hurting their feeling. Well if one expect others to be in certain way, and it doesn't work than his pain is caused by no one except himself.

This is a very good video and discussion. I love the comments because I can relate to this topic. I have gone through this with different jobs, friends and family members. I have learned to work on myself and develop understanding, compassion towards others. It's difficult sometimes not reacting and trying to defend yourself but I discovered staying true to myself and not reacting is my new super power. 😉

The trouble with father's day is you usually get dirt or an old tie and about sixty seconds of appreciation; but mother's day is either a great day or an obligation and it's that black and white. Also, the woman who founded Mother's Day was later arrested for protesting its existence. Fact. And from my experience? All mother's demand mother's day celebrations or hold a grudge if you don't perform. Big heaping portions of guilt to follow; enough to hold you over all the way to Thanksgiving.

I really needed this to remind me once more that it's not easy to always help others and be there therefore I have learn the hard way to step aside

From my experience to tell if people around u are jealous of u ASK YOURSELF TWO QUESTIONS. One, Do u look better than them??? Now im not a judgmental person and dont view things in hierarchies BUT NARCISSIST DO. You know the answer to that question deep down. Question two is are you more successful or have more money and status or just have more talent or more going on good in your life. If the answer to both those questions is yes then THEY ARE JEALOUS OF U. Now not every jealous person is a full blown narc but every full blown narc is jealous. Narc or not its never good to keep jealous people around u because many of them are snakes and looking for the chance to do some bs to u. AVOID THEM! I got so jaded from dealing with them types I dont do friends AT ALL ANYMORE but if u insist on doing friends DO NOT LET ANYBODY AROUND U WHO DOESNT MATCH YOUR FLY IN THE LOOKS AND MONEY DEPARTMENT!!! You inviting trouble if u do. I learned this the hard way!

Jealousy can happen in marriage. Your partner could envy your success or even just the things you do better than them. They act out by making hurtful comments, belittling you and never apologising. That's how they overcome their own low self-esteem.

I told my mom a few days ago that i didnt understand why some people would envy me or be jeolous of me if im a nobody, im not popular and probably the worst sinner than them. And she told me that it was my 'persona' that they envied. Just simply for been me. That they envied whats inside of me even if they are richer than you or more popular than you. I still dont get. It blows my mind.

This is so true, I used to be confused when people treat me a certain way. What did I have to be jealous about. I was not married, I have no kids…which is what most women see as “successful” my friend explained to me that I have a “light” that’s what they are really jealous of and now I get it.

Omg my supervisor was always making these little remarks and making things unnecessarily difficult, planting little seeds of doubt. Making these little mental traps to make me feel stupid...all the way up until I just recently left and moved to a place I bought in another state which he says oh gonna live in a swamp ay? I'm like LOL it's a place with potential to build multiple homes and in a wonderful part of the country more beautiful than his 200000 grand house. It's like bro, YOU live in a swamp...in your soul!

I got a little triggered at the end when you mentioned the Mother’s Day discount because I think that some of us come to here because we have experienced some great hurt with our mothers (and some Narcissistic abuse).
